LMi.net offers full, uncensored access to over 110,000 USENET newsgroups. USENET is one of the oldest services on the Internet, and is used primarily to transfer binary files and facilitate discussions between people who share a common interest.

USENET is a standard Internet service that may be used from most email programs or Net News readers. Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape, Microsoft Outlook Express, and most other popular news readers are compatible with the LMi.net USENET server.

Each dialup and DSL user gets up to 8.0 GB per month of free download from the LMi.net USENET server. If you need more that 8.0 GB we suggest you get an account with Giganews Usenet Newsgroups, who provides our USENET feed.
